The portal will Bring non utilized players to other teams. If Liberty can do it do can VT . Lots of players will declare early fo the draft and we don’t even know how paying players for their likenesses is going to work out . I’m sure some players will feel slighted and underpaid. As for recruiting I don’t see how having 2 or 3 more 4 stars makes a huge difference in a class. 5 stars yes. VT can compete with the players we have and will get . It’s up to the coach and if I were the A D and coach begins to falter , I’d have an early hook and not wait until December.
