Not very refined but how about we invite every living football letterman (Reserve' S'il Vous Plait) to a late spring/early summer camp so they can mix and hobnob with the best recruits we can lure to campus that weekend. The kids workout in Lane Stadium under the slickest produced program our coaches can put together. Afterward, former players and prospective candidates greet and meet at an outdoor catered affair. Former players have been provided with Hokie jerseys (or they can wear their NFL jerseys) with their names and numbers of the last year they played. Shiny rings and other shiny bling is highly encouraged. To hold costs down, alumni participants pay their own way and accomodations. Jerseys, entrance to the camp, and the buffet are on the house. Our recruiting must improve so Fu and Corney will have to put on their best faces.

None of that is gonna happen, but what can Tech do leverage what it has available to it to improve recruiting (other can procure a different coach)?

As an after thought, high school coaches need to be put in there somewhere.
