You are only looking at the offensive end of the court


Bede is by far our strongest on the ball defender. In the last minute of play he was the guy who stole the ball from Jones. He is a strong ball handler and has fewer turnovers than most of the team. If we had another point guard to sub in your thoughts would be stronger. But there simply isn't another point guard currently on the team. We are having to sub Cattour in and there is a clear drop off. The ball slows up when that happens.

Bede can shoot and score if he would some how increase his confidence level. I have noticed when he puts more arc on his shot his make percentage goes way up This includes his foul shots. His misses appear to feature a flatter ball angle to the rim. I am sure the coaches have noticed this but just an observation on my part.
