Highly doubt he is in the doghouse...

He is a phenomenal kid. All of his deficiencies derive from a lack of understanding, not a deficiency in skill or measurables. So it will be hard for him to crack the lineup without getting a better grip on understandimg the "why" and "how" to do what needs to be done defensively and what reads to make offensively. So you can see that kind of feeds itself.

Ojiako is in a similar boat. He just HAD to play last season due to a severe lack of numbers. You could tell how much better he got late in the season though, just from trying to maximize what little time he was getting.

Bamisile and Ojiako both have the highest ceilings for their position, but theyre also both at the lowest floor, and both due to injury holding back their ability to gain ground in their understanding.

Long term, this is probably the best scenario for VT with regards to Ojiako. I would have thought it would be very difficult to keep him all 4 years if he developed well. But as it stands, he may miss his window for early entry and be at VT for a 5th year. Similar for Bamisile, but he still has time for some exponential growth before that window starts to close
