And I was thinking the same thing about the great players that came through Virginia at that time. In one state tournament, I saw Ralph, but the one that intrigued me was on a team from Norfolk with this big Charles Oakley-looking guy with quick feet and a soft touch on his jumper from the corner.

Name was Bruce Smith from Booker T. Washington HS. I think he turned out OK somewhere :)
