I grew up in Martinsville in the 80’s. Watched tons of state title games.


That basketball team was a state title factory in the 80’s.

Got to see Nikki Fisher and Terry Kirby go head to head in a state title game. (Football, of course) Kirby still the most dominant HS player I’ve ever seen in person. Tabb rolled us. But we won the title the next year.
