(2) Alleyne with another solid game. Good to see him out of his shooting slump. We need that drive and pull up jumper.

(3) Mutts: 14 pts, 11 RB's, 3 assists, 3 blocks and 0 TO's. That's a BIG night. Loved that 540 degree pivot in the lane too.

(4) Cattoor with another solid game: 13 pts, 3 RB, 3 steals and an assist

(5) Alluma and Mutts had several awesome blocks at the rim. Without those this game may have been close.

(6) 0 points from our freshman class. And only averaging a combined 3 pts/game in ACC play (through 8 games). I'm sure COVID protocol has much to do with freshman struggles both here and at other schools ... but that is probably the lowest mark we have ever had, right? Looking forward to seeing them bust out at some point. Thought DN'G was on his way to being a solid contributor with back to back double digit games but he did not look comfortable or confident last night. Just one game though; hopefully.

(7) Surprised Mike Brey and ND conceded this game so early. It was an 11 point game with 1:30 to play. They could have sent us to the line for 3 straight 1&1's but chose not to. In the final 3 minutes of the game we scored zero points (0-1 FG & 0-4 FT's), had 2 fouls and a turnover. Glad we had a 15 point cushion.
