The use of the backboard is a lost skill


My father played college basketball and coach HS. He drilled me backboard backboard backboard. And when I didn't use it, he chewed my ass out.
The great John Wooden had a everyday drill of short jump shots from the wing using the backboard. Basketball is just different today, with very few fundamentals taught.
