...that even the best laid plans probably won't work out the way anyone wants them to. I know this is going to sound a little crazy but I think that at this point things like being the ACC regular season champ is a much bigger deal to the fans than the teams (I don't believe that to be true in a normal year) just because so much effort in all of these programs is just going to being able to continue playing. I think teams are going to be fired up to play in the tournament but I think because of so much going on the regular season focus is more geared toward just getting to the postseason in one piece.

I think the right thing to do is to simply reschedule what you can make work, do seeding by win percentage and roll with that result.

It would be one thing if teams seemed to have an advantage by holding themselves out but it seems pretty clear that teams that miss games have usually come back and struggled once they start playing again.
