VT fans should know that better than anyone.

Bede deserves criticism for Pitt, on the defensive end. Johnson had 32 points with Bede (and Cattoor) guarding him. That’s awful. That’s why we lost the game.

Bedes offense vs Pitt was inconsequential. He shot 5 shots after we were already down double digits because he was open. Do we all wish he was better offensively? Hell yes.

But he is what he is. And that’s still really valuable.
