Lot's of hand wringing amongst bball fans for losing to a team that was built to give us trouble just because they were in a funk.

Remember pre-season when everyone was questionable on our tourney chances and the one reason we thought we had a chance was because we had a ton of depth and lots of different lineups to trot out based on matchups? Yeah, all of that is gone now so please adjust your expectations.

This is still a really good team, but it's not a team that had a rangy, dynamic scorer and defender in Diarra (opt-out), muscle on the backline in Pemsl and Ojiako (both injured), our best all-around player in Radford (suspended), and our expected freshman phenom in Bamisile (development).

N'Guessan and Maddox were both redshirt candidates pre-season. So you're talking about nullifying 5 of the 11 expected contributors what we've done is pretty incredible to this point.

People give Bede and Cone a hard time because they can't play both ways, but the only reason they have to is because we've lost the guys that we're supposed to allow them to play their roles.
