I still don’t think he’s ready to play 20 minutes.


I’d keep him at 7-8 minutes per game. Given the rumors that Radford and Pemsl are coming back soon (potentially next game) we don’t need depth as much, and Bam’s game at this point is closer to Radford’s than anyone’s so he’s not necessarily needed.

Yes, he played great yesterday, but keep in mind: we were playing an average Miami team who had 7 players. Bam’s athleticism was perfect to exploit a winded team. He won’t be nearly as effective against teams like FSU, Louisville, UNC, etc. I loooooove what I saw out of him, but let’s not be too quick to glorify the kid yet. There’s a reason he’s played so few minutes up until Miami. I trust Young will continue to play him more and develop him
