My own view is that injury faking is a symptom and not the cause. The cause is these speed offenses that prevent defensive substitutions stretch the rules to their absolute absurd extreme. To me, those offenses are more bush league than the injury fakes it results in. I don't like the idea of faking injuries in the abstract but as a defense guy, I feel like we have no choice. The D gets so gassed they have to fake an injury or die choking on their on puke. My two cents and I respect yours.
