Warning: My parents went to UNC so I grew up a die hard tarheel but am now a 100% a hokie.

In all the message boards almost everyone wants uva to win in tonight's game. They are our #1 rival so that makes no sense to me. Hearing about the lawn, and "traditions" set by Thomas Jefferson makes my skin crawl and I have only been a hokie for 5 years.

People on this site say that they the tarheels are cheaters. And with all of the academic/fake major coming out they aren't wrong. But that goes back to the institution as a whole not the players.
I have watched the heels closely since I was born and I cannot think of a player in football or basketball that was a cheater. Look at dook with Allen, laettner, Henderson, shire, Hurley.....those are dirty players.

UNC has had I think only 1 or 2 one and dones, so Roy develops the players which is why I despise Calipari and UK.

I guess what I am asking is why does everyone hate UNC? Seeing them win all the time does suck but I'd rather them win 100 times than let uva win.
