Rather than growing the membership of the Hokie Club...these bureaucrats in their infinite wisdom want to avoid the hard work, refuse to think outside the box and take the easy way by socking it to those life long loyal Hokies.

Spread these growing costs over more contributors do not saddle the same group of loyalists with significantly higher costs.

If the Hokie Club cannot grow membership and giving by 20-30% per year to make up for years of ineptitude--then new management is needed, just like in the real world of big business.

Here is the problem--look at the athletic contributor numbers/living alumni:
