Was London a good recruiter before he was a head coach?


What kind of recruiter was he when he couldn't make playing time promises? Sure he can still make those promises but what happens when the HC has to deal with London's promises? We saw the problems he made for himself as HC. Make those problems for his boss - what happens then?
