A VT grad is the CEO of a SF startup recently acquired for $10.2B
Surprised no one has posted about it here yet. He's been the CEO since the beginning so I'm guessing he has a substantial enough amount of equity that he is now a billionaire, which would make him the wealthiest VT alum.
The guy was the president of the SF Hokie Club at one point so he must care about Tech to an extent. Not exactly Phil Knight, but hopefully someone who will make substantial contributions back to the school.
