I didn't get to watch the game last night. Then again I got turned
off by the NBA with some of its rules (i.e. players allowed to take 2 1/2 steps), the lack of officials calling some violations (i.e. walks, carries, etc), the lack of the ability by most NBAers to hit a mid-range jump shot consistently because dunks/3-pointers is what gets a player on SportCenter, and the "streetball" type flow the game seems to have now. I did watch a few games in the series and some early round games. One thing I noticed about a lot of the teams (especially GS) is they tend to make awkward passes (i.e. off one foot and/or while leaning back) or take awkward shots (i.e. off one foot and/or leaning back).
I guess I prefer the style of the 80s/early 90s where players were still under control even when they made "Showtime" like passes or Jordanesques one foot or leaning back shots. The teams now don't seem to exhibit the same level of control in their movements and/or their fundamental skills as previous generations.
