That one great season he had, what 2 or 3 years ago, this didn't seem to be an issue. I don't recall him saying a word about it.

Suddenly....his performance drops off a cliff and he needs a new reason to be in the spotlight. So he comes up with this.

It's gotta be all about him, all the time. It would be nice if he could just let his performance do the talking and have the media take notice of him for that, but it doesn't seem like that's possible anymore.

I have zero respect for the guy after this latest development. And the 49ers are absolutely pathetic for condoning it.

I actually wish Goodell would assert himself in this one, sit Colin down and say "This BS is going to end. And it's going to end now. You are suspended for 1 game for your actions Friday. If it EVER happens again, the next suspension is 16 games. Do you read me, son?"

I think he might get the point.
