I was simply suggesting he should show a little respect

for the people that risked their own freedom and sacrificed their own lives, to secure the "freedom of expression" he enjoys.

If as much effort was expended acknowledging the root cause of the problem and addressing them as was in meaningless disrespecting platitudes, then perhaps we could make some real progress towards correcting the issue.

His "protest" was not intended to fix any issue what so ever. He realizes his talent has likely taken him as far as he can go and his time in the spotlight is growing short. His 15 minutes is quickly ticking down and he wanted the attention while he could still get it.

I am quite certain he enjoys the protection of the same individuals he was protesting through his actions today. I have not read anything where he has refused the security that the team provides for him.

Has he been out in the communities where this "oppression" is occurring trying to make a difference? Has he personally done anything else to attempt to address the issue other than disrespect the National Anthem? It is not for a lack of recognition or funding I assure you if he hasn't.
