I am distressed by the state of college recruiting. My son is in 6th grade but is showing all the signs of becoming a P5 basketball player. He is a Scottie Pippen clone who will mature into a 6' 8" body.

He still has a long way to go to round his game into form. I figured he had until 11th grade to start making noise. It is driving me crazy that college coaches are recruiting kids as early as 8th - 9th grade.

My son shouldn't have to achieve his potential until he is ready. I don't want him to feel undue pressure.
