Yes, its the other leg, but it could very well be a direct result of . . .
the surgery to correct the other issue, the bone out of place in the other foot that caused him to run on his toes.
When I first heard of the other leg having the stress fracture, my first thought was he was done for the year, and God forbid, done period.
He's been running/walking a certain way, due to the other foot, his whole life, it seems, and now he's running a new way, after that surgery. That's bound to put a lot of new stress on bones, joints, ligaments, etc, that can spell trouble until everything is strengthened to handling the new stresses.
