playoff from an acc perspective. Assuming all of clemson, Louisville and VT win out and VT wins the acc championship. Would the committee take a 1 loss clemson team that just lost the acc title. Would they take Louisville even though Louisville will not notch a quality win down the stretch (e.g., no ability to climb the polls). Or would a 2 loss acc champ be selected that just beat the #2 playoff team? Worst case scenario, the acc gets shut out due to clemson loss. I think a VT acc title makes a mess for the acc with respect to the playoff. For the conspiracy theorists out there you can imagine the refs calling the acc title game in clemsons favor to avoid the mess.
BTW - on that espn top 25 playoff show last night all of the analysts said that neither VT nor UNC have a chance against clemson, go hokies!
