That says more about the veracity of RPI than it does about the teams

VT with wins over UM on road and N at neutral site. Only loss is by 3 pts to good TAMU at neutral.
Ole Miss best wins are both at home against Memphis and St Joes. Only game played away from home is 9 pt loss to very good Creighton.

I'm just saying that the above results against "better competition" teams would lead me to assume the RPI numbers were reverse. Their "lesser teams" must be much better than ours.
