To some extent, I wonder what impact going to the well of transfers/JUCOs for QBs could have on High School recruiting in the future. I can see a scenario where if, say, Fuente were recruiting a 4-star QB in the future from the 757, it would be easy for an opposing coach to say "hey, if you go to VT then Justin Fuente and you're not ready right away, he's just going to go out and find a JUCO or a transfer to compete with you."

Granted, the ground has shifted a lot on this in the last few years and this is becoming an increasingly common phenomenon. And Fuente's reputation for QB development should help regardless of circumstances.

That being said, it will be interesting to see if that pattern continues and whether this affects our high school recruiting ability for QBs down the line.
