The reality is that folks at your level that are buying up all the prime seats with no further donation are preventing anyone new from coming in. I don't know your particular situation but many folks in your position were buying as many seats as possible and everyone sitting in those seats wasn't donating a single dime going forward.

The whole thing was handled poorly but big donors boxing out everyone else was just as bad. Had folks bought 2-4 tickets only that would have freed up thousands of other prime tickets for those waiting in the wings to start contributing big bucks.

The previous champion level donors leaving the program sucks. But how many tickets do you realistically need? For two people it's $1600 a year, not that bad. But for 20 people it's $16,000. 20 tickets is unreasonable in today's world, especially without any kind of continuing donation.

No with empty seats those waiting in the wings can contribute and the HC can continue on a more sustainable path. It's pretty simple. I understand promises from the past were broken, but the game has changed.
