years of winning the NC, but a top 5 recruiting class doesn't mean the team will win a NC.

Too much proof that star rankings, and class rankings are hit or miss, but the odds are better with a better recruiting class.

For the record I'm very pleased with this recruiting class for VT, and I don't think VT will need to have a top 5 recruiting class to win a NC, with Fuente and Foster.

It may be obvious I didn't read the article. I'm sure there's a good angle supporting why stars matter.
