Seth Greenberg: The coach who led us into a new era. For so long, we were essentially an occasionally competitive mid-major. Greenberg elevated us. After 9 years, it was time to move on, but he was the perfect coach at the perfect time for us. He wouldn't allow Virginia Tech to be pushed around and then he got results to back us up. He never got us into the realm of constant NCAA participant, but without SG, we're never even in that conversation. IMO, SG showed that you CAN win at Virginia Tech. Without SG, I'm not sure we get Buzz.

FWIW, if Buzz can stay a few more years and get us to the dance a couple times, he may take Greenberg's place.
