Original post announces Fuente's contract extension and then asks if the Hoovers should extend BM's contract. Here is one reply:

"Fuente could be viewing VT as a stepping stone to bigger and brighter things. Let's face it, he was handed a solid football program from Beamer, and anything short of "greatness" will be viewed as failure. But at the end of the day, VT is limited in their resources to compete at the national level when compared to the big programs.

"Granted, I think Fuente is overrated. He was handed a decent set of players and got lucky in his recruitment of a transfer QB who panned out, yet went one-and-done.

We'll see how solid of a coach he is this year as he loses several Beamer recruits and has to rebuild at some pretty critical positions."
