By being one of the best teams in the country over the last few years
They were a bit down this year (and I think what they did this year will be more the norm for them moving forward). But for about a three year period, they were only losing a few games a year and they were getting VERY high seeds in the tournament based on their resumes (1 or 2 seeds).
They were one of the best programs in the country. But I think most knew that it was a temporary blip due to an influx of very good players. In fact, while Anderson was understood as a pro-level player, I think Brogdon and Parrentes had been very under-appreciated. They don't have anyone else going forward who is anywhere near that level IMO.
