I would argue that it's a completely different type of pressure
Sports require split second decisions, football in particular you work off instinct far more than thinking through something.
The wonderlic is a time and pressure test over an expanded time frame based on academic skills, it's about time management and not getting flustered on a question. I think that part does translate to the field in the "short memory" they talk about for QBs, but no I don't believe a top wonderlic score is indicative of intelligence, it just means you're good at solving simple math problems quickly and can read.
Extremely low scores are a red-flag because that signals and inability to parse out the simplest information and follow directions, which means coaching that player would be a nightmare.
