Don't think so. I think he was perfectly happy during his time at VT
From what I read, there were two issues that heavily influenced his decision. One was that he had sustained an injury early in his career, and thought he would be taking a chance on another injury if he returned. If you look at the number of time he had to run the ball (i.e. our lack of RB production), he was definitely at a higher risk than if we had a productive rushing game (at positions other than QB).
The second was he felt he needed the money.
Frankly I can't begrudge him on either issue, and hope he can get a NFL contract to continue his play at the next level. I think 99% of the Hokie nation is pulling for him!
