I think seeing a very mediocre (in our collective humble opinions) QB go second in the draft may have influenced our reactions to Evans not being drafted.

It's hard to believe anyone who we spanked that bad "head to head" on the field would go so far ahead of our guy. He basically appeared to be at best, a "serviceable" QB who really did nothing to elevate his team while Evans elevated the Hokies to the ACCCG, and put a good scare into CU. If we had swapped QBs with UNC, they would have been the team in the ACCCG, and we would have struggled to make a bowl game.

That's my guess why so many were miffed that Evans wasn't drafted, or even signed an UDFA contract. It's mind-blowing.
