Ok. I dispute it.
Here's the thingyou like that MD schedule because we never play those teams, so it's got a "new" factor for you. Also, anyone who has spent any time on the realignment board knows how you feel about the ACC, so that's clouding your perspective IMO (and/or you're just trolling). If you look at it objectively, here's what you have:
"Towson and UCF are better than ODU and Delaware." FALSE.
towson = delaware. Mediocre-to-bad FCS programs for both teams. WASH
ODU > UCF. both G5, both made bowls last year. But ODU is coming off a 10 win season, while UCF was 6-7. 3 year record comparison of 21-16 for ODU, 15-23 for UCF.
"Michigan and Penn State are FAR better than Clemson and UNC." FALSE.
Clemson >> Mich. by a lot. 2 straight NC appearances, defending champs, 3 year record of 38-5. Michigan is 25-13 over that time. which is nice I guess.
PSU marginally better than UNC, and it's arguable. Better last year for sure. 3 year record of 25-15 for both teams, and both teams have had an 11 win season during that stretch.
"And Pitt is only slightly better than IU or Rutgers". FALSE.
3 year records: Pitt 22-17 (3 bowls), IU 16-22 (2 bowls), ruggers 14-23 (1 bowl). and pitt had a better record than either team in 5 of those 6 seasons (ruggers was better in 2014)
"also, Maryland got an extra game. That's worth somewhere around $5million.". fine. but $5M doesn't make it a better schedule, just more lucrative.
EDIT: forgot this one:
"NW is the equivalent of Duke. Was actually better last year". I'll grant you that one, it was an actual true and factual statement.
