You may want to check out the Ohio newspapers (Columbus Dispatch, Cleveland Plain Dealer in particular- Cincinnati Enquirer doesn't have much on this) Columbus newspaper reported that Buzz is one of three prime candidates and that the Ohio State AD met with Buzz earlier this week- probably flew in to Roanoke IF TRUE). The Plain Dealer however indicates in an afternoon update today that the Ohio State AD has only formally interviewed the Creighton coach and the Ohio State assistant coach. They may be interested in Mike Brown, assistant for the G.S Warriors who is a Columbus native. OSU may try to go after Greg Marshall. The problem they have is timing. Many of the best available coaches just re-upped with their respective schools at the end of the season. Even if Buzz did meet the OSU A.D. it is likely because he wants to know what the going market rate is for good coaches these days and feels also that he owes it to his family to always listen to offers, not necessarily that he is looking to move on at this point.
My guess is they stay in-house and hire the assistant coach (can't think of his name right now) who is a former OSU player, very well thought of who is also a very energetic recruiter; give him two years and then decide to extend his contract or look elsewhere.
