Re: I guess he does not realize our D is rather stout this year

I have to admit I have a little bit of a man crush on Bud Foster. He has put very good defenses together for so long that anyone who doubts he will do it again this year doesn't know Bud Foster. If we had had Bud Foster during the RichRod years or the Geno Smith years I really think we would have won a NC under RichRod and could have contended with Geno Smith, Tavon Austin and Steadman Baily.

I wondered the same thing about the perception of smack talk.

As for running the offense, don't forget he spent his "sit out" year running the practice squad, was privy to all the QB coaching last year (A significant part of Holgs offense is audibling (sp?) into the correct play based on what he sees.), is a coaches kid, has had a year and a half to develop some chemistry throwing with his receivers, and runs well enough to be considered a true dual threat QB.

Gibson did a great job piecing together a defense last year and I don't see why he can't do it again.
