Honestly, I believe it was a catch.


Given the other rulings from that night and how they were ruled a catch, I would have no problem ruling it was a catch. Fair or not, the replay official kinda established a standard for the night on what was or wasn't a catch. Any perceived ball moment was actually an optical illusion and really the result of changes in body movement. Also, the ground didn't aid Coale in catching the ball given his hands and arm placement.

However, I can see where someone may have doubts about whether it was an optical illusion or not. Based on how the rules were written, any doubts automatically means incomplete pass.
