This is probably the best Hokie back 7 since 2007
That team had 2 stud linebackers and 2 all-american CBs but had a hole at safety.
There is a good chance that you'll see 6 of the 7 starters drafted, and the backup CB as well. The Edmunds bros, Facyson, Alexander, and Stroman should be relatively safe bets. Reynolds has a good shot and Hunter (presumably) is the best recruit we've snagged in a decade.
Dline depth is a major issue, but the starters are as good as we've had and are significantly larger than any other Foster coached defense.
Offense could be a problem, but we essentially ran a one read and go setup for Evans all of last year. That basically means if the QB can deliver a good ball and is a running threat the offense shouldn't slow down as much as predicted. The line should be strong at the point of attack, and I honestly think we'll see a running game improvement without Sam Rogers. As much as I love Sam, he ate up a ton of reps and wasn't a threat taking a handoff. Travon showed what he could do 2 years ago, and I think he's set up for a massive year. He also historically shows up in big games (Tennessee, Miami, Arkansas).
