OK, I don't think he should be inducted. It's an honor and he did embarrass the university and I especially can't get over the torturing and killing dogs part. HOWEVER, I can at least understand the other side of the argument--he paid his debt, he has worked for animal rights, he was the greatest player in VT history, this is a sports HOF--not academic, etc.
The odd thing to me is how outraged some people on the "pro" side are about the backlash/controversy. Is this a surprise that there are dog-lovers in the world? Plus, he's getting in anyway, so why the need to rub it in? C'mon people, just agree to disagree and move on.
