Looking at the Rivals list of Pitt offers to running backs. .
Two things jump out at me:
1) He's listed as an all purpose back and not a running back. Not a bad thing, just noting he's not being viewed as James Conner's replacement. 2) He's the only back that seems to be interested in Pitt for either the all purpose back or traditional back. Think they recruited pretty well at RB last year so while he may be #1 this year it may be that running back is not that high of a priority for them.
I was actually pretty surprised he didn't jump at the Pitt offer because he's probably a good fit for that O. After seeing how it sets up with that context though, my guess is they see him as he sees himself.
