Some guys that you think would become stellar WRs never pan out, and other guys that you think will be after thoughts become key contributors. Still trying to figure out how Fuente got up to 8 WRs that he trusted while at Memphis. But....with that said this system is supposed to be easier to pick up. CC made a really good point when he said that many of the WRs in the Beamer era were underrated. Take a guy like David Clowney or even Justin Harper, or Josh Hyman. We as fans don't necessarily view them the same as an Eddie Royal or Andre Davis, but those guys were very solid receivers that were quite capable. We just got so used to it that when the talent level dropped off a cliff it was VERY noticeable. Back then it was easy to look at a guy like Calvin Johnson or Percy Harvin and be envious....but we actually had fairly decent WR depth for a long period of time.
