WVU Defense
Good article that pretty much sums up where our defense is at this point. About where expected, about 4 or 5 solidified starters and battles for positions everywhere else. Looking past all the intended motivational coach speak in that article, I think a lot of what coach Gibson is speaking is true. Safety is pretty strong as long as Askew-Henry comes back at his previous level, LB is solid but not what it would have been with David Long. DB and the D-Line is a battle among guys with playing experience but limited starting experience. I would be as nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs if you guys still had Evans, I'm still deeply concerned, but not as much playing an unproven QB.
