All sports have year long lifting programs...or at least they used to.
And strongly encouraged is being nice (also...many times it was at a set time for your team and sometimes that time was 5:30am). Not sure how that works now with multiple weight rooms.
Yeah...pretty much all track athletes do both indoor and outdoor. Even if they redshirt one or both they're practicing and often competing unattached at certain meets.
