"New" is a technicality for WVU QB
While Grier is technically "new" for us, it's really a moot point. He's already been through live game trial by fire at Florida so he knows what to expect at the college level. He's also spent a full year absorbing Holg's offense in the position meetings and on the scout team. He's closer to a second year sophomore than he is to "new".
As for playing your defense, it wouldn't matter if he was a senior. Playing a Bud Foster defense is a tall order.
