Yep I agree completely. I *understand* that Fuente has his own way of


running things, and I am fine with that. But if they want to drive interest, they need to do a little more than instagram and snap chats. They need cameras and microphones at practice so that they can stay on the local news and in the papers. I know those aren't HUGE sources of info anymore, but for the more "casual" fan it's probably the only way they hear anything about VT football without actively seeking it out.

Put another way, the actual "fanatics" (the ones who for the most part are already donating and/or buying season tickets) know to go to TSL, TKP, bitter blog, @hokiesFB on instagram and twitter, etc to find what little info is out there. But that's not keeping the team in front of potential new donors that are less engaged on a day-to-day basis and less motivated to actively seek out news about the team.

Marketing is most successful when it's constantly in your face.
