they have a legit shot at. They will finish in the Top 10, and we will likely finish somewhere between 20 and 25 based on the remaining potential haul for both programs as we get to signing day. At this point in time, looking at the average rating of each recruit gives a more accurate picture.

Look, we've chosen to be a system-based, developmental program so we have the potential to get more results with less talent. We can hit Top 10-15 finishes consistently with the talent we bring it assuming we get solid QB play. That's great, but unfortunately, they don't hand trophies out for that.

I'd love to see us strive to hit a top tier class because since recruiting rankings have been done since 2002, not one program has won a national championship without having had at least one Top 5 class in the three years before they won it.
