If anyone is looking for a fight, I'm sure they'll find one
The fact that FedEx servers beer is a recipe for potential trouble and that will go both ways. I remember watching some Tech fans losing their guts in the parking lot before the Boise State game. There are going to be a lot of drunk people that night.
I think the stadium staff at FedEx does a good job controlling the crowd. I saw the Redskins play the Eagles at FedEx last fall, and when things flared up between fans, security was on top of it. Nobody wants to spend the night in jail either.
That said, I'll agree with b-street that the concern is that 'eer fans are absolutely confident that they'll whip Virginia Tech's butt. The word is that Tech has nobody at QB and that the Hokies will totally confused by the 3-3-5, Grier will throw at will against Tech's d and the running backs will run at will.
'Eer fans have ZERO respect for Tech. They expect a 49-7 win. So once they realize that Tech has a great young QB, a running game, its best offense in years, and that Bud Foster knows how to handle the 3-3-5, I expect quite a few West Virginia fans will turn ugly.
Bottom line, leave the women and children at home.
