I've seen nowhere where

anyone thinks WVU is going to kill VT. Their is cautious optimism. Yes, Grier is a stud, can make all the throws, and is undefeated, but yes he hasn't seen game action in a year and a half. We aren't bringing back a big hitter at WR, but feel our 1's are more than capable. Our RB's are studs, our O line should be solid, but you never know how that is all going to come together, I'm not going to be surprised if we score 40 or if we struggle to get a first down, either end of the spectrum will not surprise me because I truly have no clue what they will do.

Defensively, we've done pretty well by B12 standards at replacing starters the past 2 seasons, we are again loaded with upperclassmen, that has boded well for our scheme the past couple of seasons, so there is a reason to be positive there, again, if there are a ton of blown assignments and we can't get pressure on JJ, it's going to be a long game. The defensive line is our most concerning point to me, we are starting 2 sophomores and a senior who have hardly played, there is no reason to think that they are going to come in and be Bruce Irvin off of the edge. Plus the last time we saw our defense they were moving Kaaya up the draft boards, so I, like the rest of this fan base have my reservations, if any Mountaineer tells you otherwise, they are lying to you.
