It all boils down to vanilla offense. We had 3 (maybe 2) days to prepare

for Delaware. We were beat up and mentally exhausted. Delaware had 7/8 days to prepare for us.

Should we have physically dominated a bit more? sure. But our offense was as basic as you could make it. Give our freshman 1 short option and 1/2 longer. Throw it or tuck it. That was the pass game. We dropped several long passes.

D looked good after being on short rest, IMO.

I literally went and played an adult league sport during the game because I anticipated a walk-through scrimmage. I watched the game later. I'm not the least bit concerned and certainly not more concerned than I was before the season.

We will have a more complete game plan and win this weekend, handily. Doesn't mean we won't lose 2-3 games this year because we don't have enough talent/depth at certain positions. But that was obvious before Delaware, IMO.
