ESPN's Latest (brainfart) Decision to host College Gameday in NYC is good


For next weekend, they are going to NYC.

This improves our chances of hosting gameday on Sept 30th.

I was a little worried with the lack of premier matchups on Sept 30th, they would do one of their goofy "one-off" shows someplace strange that weekend.

Now that they got this "one off" show out of the way, it seems that they really have no choice but to come to Blacksburg on 9/30. And we are practically a mortal lock for a night game too. The only other premier matchups that weekend are:

#4 USC at #21 WSU (on Friday)
#13 UGA at #23 Tenn (likely on CBS)
Ole Miss at #1 Alabama (hardly premier)
